Ridge climbing in combined rock, ice and snow terrain.

Price per person: €1,060 for 2 people, €960 for 1 person
Condition: climbs up to 1300 meters in altitude and 6 hours / day. Total walking time of up to 12 hours / day and 2000 meters in altitude on the descent.
Technique: Sure-footedness and a head for heights in the pathless, rocky and icy terrain are required for this high-altitude tour. Mastering the necessary crampon and ice ax techniques for climbing short firn flanks with a 40° steepness, as well as changing passages with crampons on ice and rock in the 4th difficulty level are an advantage.
Process:
- Day 1: We meet at 3:00 p.m. in Sulden/Italy at the Langsteinbahn car park and climb to the Hintergrathütte. (Total walking time: approx. 1.5 hours, ascent: 330 HM) Day 2: Early in the morning we climb over the exposed back ridge to the Ortler (3,905m). The descent is via the normal route past the Julius Payer hut back into the valley. (Total walking time: approx. 12 hours, ascent: 1300 m, descent: 2000 m)

Services included: Guided tour by a state-certified mountain and ski guide, rental equipment*, reservation of accommodation in advance.
Additional costs: expenses of the mountain guide, travel costs, transfer costs: Langsteinbahn (ascent and descent € 16.00 as of 2021), 1 night in the camp with half board at the Hintergrathütte approx. € 60.00 per person / per day.

Is there rental equipment?
* The rental equipment is marked on the equipment list. However, any damage or loss must be charged.
What happens in bad weather?
If the weather forecast is so bad that the tour cannot be carried out, we will cancel the tour and try to find an alternative date. There are no costs from my side.
