Via ferratas with overnight stays in huts

Together we go from via ferrata to via ferrata and circumnavigate

my home, the Tannheimertal.

Duration: 4 daysBest season: June to OctoberRegion: Tannheimertal Meeting point: 8:30 a.m., Oberjoch valley station IselerbahnParticipants: min. 4 people, max. 6 peoplePrice per person: € 480,--Also possible as a private tour. *Price and date on request.

Condition: ascents and descents up to 1,300 meters in altitude. Walking time between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the weather, the condition of the path and the condition of the group.

Technique: via ferratas of category B, C, D and higher. The stepping aids are often far apart. Often only the wire rope is available as a climbing aid, vertical and overhanging passages can be easily overcome with a good level of training and stamina. Climbing experience is an advantage. Experience in via ferrata, a head for heights and sure-footedness are required.

Process:

Day 1: We meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Iselerbahn ticket office in Oberjoch (D). After the equipment check, we take the mountain railway and then climb up to the Salewa via ferrata for about 20 minutes. Once there, we climb to the summit of the Iseler. From there we hike back to the mountain station and take the train back to the village. After lunch we drive to the Vilsalpsee and climb up to the Landsberger Hütte where we spend the night.2. Day: After breakfast we walk about 20 minutes to the start of the Lachenspitz via ferrata. Arriving at the summit, we descend via the normal route to the Vilsalpsee. After lunch we drive to Nesselwängle and hike to the Schneetalalm where a beautiful view of the valley awaits us and where we spend the 2nd night.3. Day: Strengthened by breakfast we climb up to the entrance to the Köllenspitze via ferrata. After we have managed the most demanding via ferrata in the Tannheimertal, we take the normal route to the Gimpelhaus where we sleep the last night. Day: The next day it's a leisurely hike over the Rote Flüh, the Friedberger via ferrata and the Laufenspitze to the Füssener Jöchle mountain station. After lunch at the Sonnenalm we take the train down to the valley.
