Condition: ascents and descents up to 1,100 meters in altitude. Walking time between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the weather, the condition of the path and the condition of the group.

Technique: Category B and C via ferrata, occasionally also D. Secured with a via ferrata set, you move in steep, rocky terrain. With the help of pins and clamps, some of which are further apart, very steep and occasionally overhanging passages are overcome. Sufficient arm strength to cope with longer tours is required. Experience in via ferrata, a head for heights and sure-footedness are required.

Procedure: We meet at 8:20 a.m. at the roundabout in Tannheim, we then take the bus in the direction of Vilsalpsee. Ascent over the Traualpsee and the Lache to the start of the via ferrata (walking time approx. 2.5 hours, 750 meters in altitude). Then it's about 2 hours to the summit of the Lachenspitze. Descent via the Landsberger Hütte with a short stop, then it's back to the starting point.
