Condition: climbs up to 1,000 meters in altitude. Walking time between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the weather, the condition of the path and the condition of the group.


Technique: You are sure-footed and have a head for heights in the pathless, rocky terrain and master the 4th degree of difficulty in the second ascent on the rock.


Procedure: We meet at 8:00 a.m. at the valley station of the Gimplhaus cable car. Ascent via the Gimpelhaus to the start of the Hüttengrat. (Walking time approx. 1.5 hours, 600 m elevation gain). After the Hüttengrat we continue to climb to the entrance of the Gimpl Westgrat from there it is easy climbing with a steep step (7, A0 point) to the summit. We return to the valley via the normal route via the Gimpelhaus (with a place to stop for refreshments).

Is there rental equipment?

** The rental equipment is marked on the equipment list. However, any damage or loss must be charged.

What happens in bad weather?

If the weather forecast is so bad that the tour cannot be carried out, we will cancel the tour and try to find an alternative date. There are no costs from my side.
