Condition: ascents and descents up to 1,300 meters in altitude. Walking time between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the weather, the condition of the path and the condition of the group.

Technique: via ferratas of category B, C, D and higher. The stepping aids are often far apart. Often only the wire rope is available as a climbing aid, vertical and overhanging passages can be easily overcome with a good level of training and stamina. Climbing experience is an advantage. Experience in via ferrata, a head for heights and sure-footedness are required.

Process:

Day 1: We meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Füssener Jöchle valley station. Ascent by train to the practice rock Gamseck, where we learn climbing and safety techniques. This lays the foundation for the next few days. At the end of the day we do the Friedberger via ferrata and return to the starting point.2. Day Lachenspitze via ferrata: We meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Gasthaus Vilsalpsee. Ascent over the Traualpsee and the Lache to the start of the via ferrata. Then it's about 2 hours to the summit of the Lachenspitze. Descent via the Landsberger Hütte with a short stop, then it goes back to the starting point.3. Tag Salewa via ferrata: We meet at 09:00 a.m. at the Iselerbahn ticket office in Oberjoch (D). There we take the mountain railway and then climb for about 20 minutes up to the Salewa via ferrata. From the summit of the Iseler we hike back to the mountain station and take the train back to the village.4. Day Köllenspitze via ferrata: We meet at 8:30 a.m. at the valley station of the Gimpelhaus cable car. Ascent with a wonderful view of Lake Haldensee to the start of the via ferrata. Then it takes about 3 hours to reach the summit of the Köllenspitze. Alpine descent via the north side to the Gimpelhaus. After a short stop we go back to the starting point. Day 5: Today your desired via ferrata is on the program. (e.g.: Tegelberg via ferrata, Hindelanger via ferrata, two-country sports via ferrata Kanzelwand, Kühtai Panorama via ferrata...)

What happens in bad weather?

If the weather forecast is so bad that the tour cannot be carried out, we will cancel the tour and try to find an alternative date. There are no costs from my side.
